Binth Rustad currently is the Business Officer and Co-Partner of Archer~Martin Associates, LLC. assuming leadership for managing and assessing IT, HR and the business operations. Ms. Rustad is the primary point person for managing the relationships with our independent consultants as well as our coaching clients. She has worked on presidential and senior administrative searches until A~MA decided to focus on coaching and transition management.
Josefina Castillo Baltodano served as the 12th President of Marian University, a premier applied liberal arts institution of higher education located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, until June 2009. Under her leadership, Marian transitioned from a college to university status, initiated a uniform academic infrastructure of schools within the university, and developed collaborations with civic, business, national and international educational leaders in Africa, Japan and China.
Pearl Bartelt became a Senior Fellow at the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) in January 2010. She is currently working on the Roadmap Project, a grant-funded initiative involving community colleges. Previously, she served Edinboro University of Pennsylvania as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs from January 2005 until her retirement in January 2010.
Dr. Edmundson is President Emerita of Wilson College. Over the course of four decades, Dr. Edmundson held leadership positions at seven educational institutions in the U.S., Japan and France, serving as president, chief academic officer, and founding director/fundraiser for innovative programs—the latter at Columbia University, the American University of Paris, and Marymount, Colby Sawyer, and Wilson Colleges.
In her support of the research and marketing initiatives and administrative functions of Archer~Martin Associates, Jennifer Ahlborn utilizes a familiarity with executive search that dates back more than twenty years.
Her work with the search firms Educational Management Network and Witt/Kieffer covered the spectrum of support functions, from writing to marketing to research to computer troubleshooting. In all these activities, then and now, she has maintained a focus on client satisfaction, based on quality control and anticipation of needs.
Ms. Kepenash serves Archer~Martin Associates as Consultant and Administrative, Writing and Editing Specialist and brings to A~MA her entrepreneurial spirit and experience as well as her impeccable attention to detail and organizational forte. She utilizes her interpersonal skills, computer skills, writing skills and community involvement to ensure the efficient and organized movement of information among A~MA consultants, clients and candidates.
Dr. Jeffrey Papa has more than 36 years of highly successful leadership, management and consulting experience in the fields of enrollment management, marketing, and communications at a wide range of public and private colleges and universities. Jeff spent the first 20 years of his career in enrollment management and marketing on three college campuses, including serving as a Vice President for Enrollment Management. Over the course of the next 16 years, he provided research and consulting services to numerous higher education institutions in the United States and abroad. His services included: brand identification; enrollment management; marketing and communications; alumni relations; institutional advancement; and strategic planning. In his work as a higher education consultant, Dr. Papa also conducted a series of complex, qualitative and quantitative research studies that provided colleges and universities with strategic, data-driven solutions designed to increase institutional visibility, shape reputation, strengthen enrollment, build alumni engagement, and drive fundraising.
