Jeffrey Papa, Ph.D.

Senior Principal

Dr. Jeffrey Papa has over 36 years of experience working with colleges and universities. Jeff spent the first 20 years
of his career working in enrollment management and marketing on three college campuses, ranging from a large,
public university to small, private colleges. Over the next 16 years, Jeff worked directly with numerous colleges and
universities, nationally and internationally, providing research and consulting services in such areas as brand
identification, enrollment management, marketing and communications, alumni relations, institutional
advancement, and strategic planning. As a higher education consultant, Dr. Papa conducted a series of complex
qualitative and quantitative research studies that provided colleges and universities with strategic, data-driven
solutions designed to increase institutional visibility, shape reputation, strengthen enrollment, build alumni
engagement, and drive fundraising.

As a capstone to his distinguished career, Dr. Papa was invited to join the higher education faculty of Drexel
University and the College of William and Mary. As William and Mary’s Assistant Professor, Dr. Papa developed a
customized class entitled Branding in Higher Education. Jeff holds a master’s degree in Student Personnel
Administration from Kent State University and received his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the
The University of Maryland.

Jeff lives right outside of Richmond, Virginia with his husband Jeff (yes, they are “two Jeffs”) and their very spoiled,
yet lovable dogs Greta and Chester.
