Patty Kepenash
Her greatest asset to Archer~Martin Associates is Patty’s ability to get it done, nuts to bolts, whether, editing, coaching, marketing, drafting contracts, or just keeping the ball rolling—with a smile!
After having worked for the State of North Carolina Juvenile Rehabilitation system for six years, first in a field counselor position and later as Outdoor Skills Specialist and Administrative Staff management, In 1987, Patty moved to Nantucket and created and developed her own property management, business— a full-service organization serving upper-level corporate executives summering and maintaining expansive summer residences year-round on the island. Her services entail caretaking, coordinating subcontractors for maintenance, and supervising renovations and new construction. She serves her clients as an on-site liaison to decorators, Town of Nantucket approval boards, architects, etc., while giving them peace of mind that their properties are well cared for and watched over with her personal attention. Ms. Kepenash has provided this service to a select private clientele for the past 33 years. Between 1987 and 2018, she also served as property manager for the showcase property of the Nantucket Historical Association, the Thomas Macy House. Her duties there encompassed all areas of upkeep, historical documentation, curatorial care of the contents of the home, and chef and liaison to the Tupancy-Harris Foundation Trustee Board.
Ms. Kepenash has been intricately involved in the arts community of Nantucket, having served as a board member on the Nantucket Arts Council, as Chair of the Nantucket Arts Festival for four years, and as a member of the Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, Island Stage, Actors Theatre of Nantucket, and the Nantucket Community Music Center. She is a sought-after soloist for weddings and special events and was a founding member of the original Nantucket Noel Carolers, a Victorian quartet.
In 1978, she graduated from Appalachian State University with honors in English and Communications, with a minor in Spanish. While at ASU, she served as an ambassador for the university as a cheerleader for four years. She is very active and enjoys Spinning, daily yoga,
long walks on Nantucket’s beautiful moors and beaches, and her annual hiking and biking trip to Acadia National Park in Maine.
She lives happily on Nantucket with her husband, Michael, and her two beautiful and highly entertaining Siamese, Loki, and Isha.
